Exciting new developments for 2008 include:

Extended schools activity stage

Leading organisations will demonstrate the services and activities they provide in extended schools. Ranging from exercise and cookery clubs to film and drama groups, we aim to inform and inspire visitors so they leave the show with a wealth of ideas to implement in their settings.

Creative play space

This space, placed at the heart of the show, will educate visitors about the benefits of play both indoors and out of doors, as well as demonstrating how play can be an educational tool as well as a fun activity for children.

Children’s centre conference

Running alongside the show will be a high-level conference that explores what the future holds for children’s centres. Targeted at senior managers and strategic decision makers, this one-day event will examine the challenges facing early years professionals and settings, and reveal who and what can help.
